Role Overview

This internship is best suited for someone who is curious about financial statements, international accounting standards, and how structured financial information can be used in analysis and decision-making.

What You May Work On

  • Reviewing and interpreting financial statements including the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
  • Supporting research on accounting treatments and international standards including IFRS and related frameworks.
  • Analysing how companies recognise revenue, costs, and financial risks.
  • Assisting in breaking down financial disclosures into structured, usable insights.
  • Conducting research on accounting practices across industries or geographies.
  • Organising findings into clear, structured notes for internal use.
  • Supporting the team in maintaining high-quality, interpretable financial data.

Who This Is For

  • Undergraduates or recent graduates in Accounting, Finance, Management, or related fields.
  • Candidates pursuing or partially qualified in CIMA, ACCA, or CA Sri Lanka.
  • Individuals who prefer understanding numbers over just processing them.
